Why I chose Pitt
I wanted to research HIV, which is a huge area of interest at the University of Pittsburgh.  This has given me great opportunities to collaborate with many researchers for my dissertation work.
Following her graduation, Kellie remained in the lab of her mentor, Dr. Rinaldo, as a Postdoctoral Associate. Currently Dr. Smith is working as a Research Associate at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in the lab of Dr. Drew M. Pardoll.
