Why I chose Pitt

I chose the University of Pittsburgh because it is located in a fantastic city that I already knew well, it has an immense number of faculty members to potentially work with, and there is the opportunity for collaborative research that spans departments and disciplines alike. The great sense of welcome I felt during my interview weekend also greatly impacted my decision to choose Pitt.
