Why I chose Pitt

The virology program was strong, and when I interviewed, the students appeared more well-adjusted than in other places.  The students and faculty actually talked to each other.  Steve Phillips was also a great program director.

Following her graduate, Shelley was offered a position as a Postdoctoral Associate in the Department of Biological Sciences here at the University of Pittsburgh.
